I made it to Hollywood!!!!

Our family had a fabulous time at Disney World this week, surprising Bob for his birthday! On our last day, I auditioned for the "American Idol Experience" at Hollywood Studios. It was a super exciting experience in which I got to meet with Disney casting agents, a Disney vocal coach, and actually experienced what real idol contestants go through! It was fabulous! All of the staff was awesome. I need to work at Disney! The casting agents were so real and down to Earth and so friendly and helpful. They gave me great feedback and advice and really relieved my reservations against auditioning for them again. They told me that I had a very strong cross-over voice with great technique and that I should definitely audition for them again. They said that the reason I probably was dismissed last time was because I was too young and sang the wrong type of song. However, they told me that the song I sang for them this time was the perfect audition song. They told me I had a good shot at the parks as well as the cruise line. AHH, I die! I would love to be on a cruise ship! I learned very valuable lessons from this experience (such as be myself and have fun at every audition) and it has really jumpstarted my new motivations to get back out in the business. Good things are a comin'!
